🛒 Marketplace
The TCG Archivist marketplace is where you buy singles from other collectors and sell the cards you are not using. It lives in the web portal at portal.tcgarchivist.com and uses the same account as the app.
🔁 How it works
The short version: sellers list by marking cards tradable in the app, buyers pay through Stripe, the seller accepts and ships, and the money is released when the cards arrive.
| Step | What happens |
|---|---|
| Cart | The buyer picks cards. The cart groups them by seller, and each seller checks out separately. |
| Checkout | Stripe collects payment details and a shipping address. The card is authorized, not charged. |
| Accepted | The seller accepts the sale and the credit card is charged. |
| Shipped | The seller ships inside the same window as accepting. |
| Received | The buyer confirms the cards arrived, and they join the buyer's collection. |
| Paid out | The seller's payout transfers. |

👤 Who can buy and sell
Anyone with a TCG Archivist account. Sign in to the portal with the account you use in the app; accounts are created in the app.
There is no card grading in the marketplace. Near mint, lightly played and moderately played all sell at the same price. Damaged cards, anything you could not play in a tournament, cannot be sold.
